Privacy Policy

At Hibla Philippines, we are committed to protecting your personal data and respecting your privacy in compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and applicable regulations. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, store, and safeguard your personal information when you visit our website, place an order, or participate in our activities.

Information We Collect

We collect personal information only as necessary, such as:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Contact number
  • Shipping address
  • Measurement details (for custom orders)
  • Payment details (only through secure third-party platforms)
  • Any information you voluntarily provide via forms, messages, or sign-ups
  • Browsing activity, device type, and approximate location, collected automatically (see Cookies and Website Tracking below)

How We Use Your Information

Your data may be used for the following purposes:

  • To process and deliver orders
  • To respond to inquiries and provide customer support
  • To personalize communication and improve our services
  • To send newsletters, event invites, or promotional updates (only if you opt in)
  • To comply with legal obligations and ensure security

Data Storage and Protection

We store your information securely using industry-standard tools and safeguards. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties. Only authorized personnel have access to your data for processing purposes.

Sharing of Information

We may share your information with trusted service providers (e.g., courier partners, payment gateways, and the email and analytics providers described under Cookies and Website Tracking) solely for order fulfillment, customer support, or communications you have opted into. These partners are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.

Cookies and Website Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the website working correctly and to understand how it is used:

  • Strictly necessary cookies — set by this website to keep you signed in. The site cannot function without these. Your shopping cart is kept in your browser's local storage rather than a cookie, and is cleared with your browsing data.
  • Vercel Analytics — measures overall site traffic (page views, referring sites, country, device type). It does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites.
  • Klaviyo — powers our newsletter signup forms. It places a cookie on your browser and, if you provide your email address, records which pages you view on this site so that the updates we send you are relevant. It does not track you across other websites.

Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link, which stops those emails. Unsubscribing does not by itself stop the browsing data described above from being collected. Clearing this site's cookies resets the identifier, but a new one is created on your next visit — so if you want your marketing profile and its associated activity deleted, email us at contact@hiblaphilippines.com and we will remove it. Site traffic measurement is aggregated and not tied to you individually, so there is no separate opt-out for it. Transactional messages about an order you placed are sent separately and are not affected by unsubscribing.

Some of the providers we rely on are based outside the Philippines, including Klaviyo (United States). Because these scripts run whenever you visit the site, some data — such as your IP address — reaches them even if you never enter your email address; providing your email address adds it and the browsing activity described above. We share this data only for the purposes described in this policy.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access and review your personal data
  • Request corrections or updates
  • Withdraw consent or request data deletion (subject to legal and transactional limitations)

To make any requests regarding your personal data, contact us at: contact@hiblaphilippines.com

Policy Updates

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
